A french fry holder. Maybe there had been a spike in fry-munching-induced vehicular accidents and the maker of this holder saw the need to keep our motorists and pedestrians safe. And so, to save limbs and lives, the french fry holder was born.

You can get this at Improvements Catalog, but last time I checked, they don’t have it yet. Perhaps if the demand (and hypothetical accidents) increases, they will have no recourse but to put the fry holder back on the shelves.
