Cleaning your tires

It could be tiresome to clean your tires as they will get dirty after washing them, but just think of it as being in a clean suit but wearing muddy shoes. It’s not really good if you have a clean car but you have despicable-looking tires. Better keep those tires looking as good as your whole vehicle.

Cleaning your tires is not that complicated. Just soap and a tire brush are enough to get the job done. Make sure that you do a thorough job at it though. For extra detailing, you can use tire black to keep your tires looking new. There are also whitewall cleaners in the market that will do the same. If you have chrome or aluminum wheels, you can also get metal polishers and cleaners to get the job done.

A tip from Deanna Sclar (writer of Auto Repair for Dummies) is that you can use Lemon Pledge furniture polish to keep the tires looking spiffy. You can also invest on silicone lubricants to keep grease and dirt from sticking too much to the tires.
