Here, we outline some of the car wax choices available for your car.
Liquid Waxes
Liquid waxes are only for mild applications. Don’t expect the wax finish to last for six months to a year. You can use liquid wax for waxing jobs in between major waxing operations.
Another advantage of liquid waxes is that they are easy to use and apply on your car.
Soft Waxes
This wax is like a foam wax. Very easy to apply on a vehicle. Just use a soft cloth to apply to a vehicle, let it dry and buff off for a sparkling finish. Soft waxes also last longer than liquid waxes.
Hard/Paste Waxes
This is for the heavy-duty, required waxing jobs. Though the wax is a bit harder to apply and use, the effects and protection is longer-lasting. Usually, the protection from hard waxes last from six months to a year.
Polymer Preservatives
These are better than wax since they bond with the paint itself. These give longer protection to the paint finish.
Polyglycotes
These coats are said to protect your car for two to three years. Now, that’s a long time! It’s suggested to thoroughly clean the car’s surface before applying polyglycotes on your vehicle.
